“When I was 10 years old, I was shopping in a store and
noticed a visually impaired person who was wheelchair
bound trying to do the daily tasks that many of us achieve
without much effort. That person’s struggle to be independent
and interact with the world around them left such an
impression on me, that I kept returning to that day and how I
could make an impact for the blind and visually impaired
community.
Today, I am able to make a difference. We’re living in an
awesome time of rapid technology innovation and it’s with
this, that I am able to invent a white cane replacement,
something that is long overdue.”
